No, if we brought the military back now, without the job completed, what has already been done, would have been for nothing. Our wonderful military has been fighting a proud fight and many are wanting more troops and more and better equipment in order to finish the job they started. If you read what the soldiers themselves are saying, you will see this, often.

I remember when my military career husband was in Vietman and he was told, after 5 tours spent there, that he had to come home, he was upset. He wanted to be able to finish the job and felt citizens and the government had let the military down on so many levels. We kept them from being able to do the job they could have been better able to do but they had their hands tied because of so many protesters interferring so the government and politics interferred with what should have been going on and that was -----letting the military finish what they had started out to do.

That is where Iraq is now. The citizens have started shouting to have the military return, now the government is getting involved, giving Bush a hard time, making it hard for him to lead the military to victory by supplying what needs supplied.

He knows he has made some big errors and is trying to send in more troops and to upgrade equipment and now that his term is going to end, his opponents, backed by citizens are keeping the soldiers' hands tied when they are still trying to save their own lives and trying to still follow orders and trying to finish the job they set out to do.

No, if I were appointed President of the USA, I would not order withdrawal of forces from Iraq---I would be behind our forces supplying them with whatever they needed so they could finish the job they started out to do.

Do you KNOW what would happen if we just suddenly pulled the troops out? The mayhem? I don't agree with the soldiers being sent there in the first place, but we're in a dilemna right now. Such a mess
