A normal, natural, healthy, unchangeable sexual orientation. You should really take a gander at the relevant literature published sometime AFTER the early 1970's.

Homosexuality is a naturally occurring variation in sexual attraction and expression shown by countless animal species across the spectrum of fauna. Since it is naturally occurring and has shown no indication of leading to the demise of any species, it is not possible to say that it ends DNA. In fact, one of the human studies shows that homosexual men are more likely to be born to women who have already born several sons.
I don't believe you can find a particular purpose for homosexuality in any species, although it has been speculated (without a great deal of evidence) that homosexual men serve as surrogate fathers and supportive uncles in the raising of offspring.

Homosexuality is what Gay people enjoy being, what true straight people accept as a way of life for people who are different from themselves, and it's what closet gays fear the most.

I think as the world becomes more and more overpopulated, homosexuality, lack of sex drive, reproductive disfunction, etc are becoming more and more common. It's just nature's way.

I, for one, am really impressed with your wisdom. It must be really great to have all the answers. I know scientists and erudites who would have no idea of whether what you was saying were true or not. Why are you not rich with your vast store of knowledge, instead of just hanging around on y/answers.

My opinion is that it is a hormonal imbalance. This is not an educated opinion; just my own. I do not believe it is a "life style choice". If people can be born with both male and female sex organs from a severe hormonal imbalance, then to me it makes sense that a man could feel attracted to another man from a milder form of a hormonal imbalance. I don't believe it is a mental condition. I believe it is a physical condition.

Who really cares? Why does it matter why some people are gay? The fact is that there are gay people in the world, get over it.
