what may of you are saying is this is the goal of a typical person who labels themself pro- life.....

there is a great documentary on the prolife movement in Mississippi. It was done by Frontline.
The prolife movement has eliminated all of the clinics in the entire state, save one. If a woman wants an abortion, she has to go to a state funded prolife counseling center first and sit there as people try and talk her out of the abortion. Then she has to have an ultrasound so that she can see a picture of the "baby" that the prolifers claim she is killing.
Then she can get an abortion.
Considering how far the commute is to the clinic, it is logistically impossible for many women to get an abortion in Mississippi.

I think the fight is rather ridiculous..My stance is we should have a choice but only when it has to do with the mothers own life and if she already has children to raise or if the fetus is severely handy caped and will suffer ..And absolutely NO to partial birth abortion under any other circumstance because it's simply not the right time to have it..Condoning abortion as a choice to use as birth control is a bad idea...neo nazi? what a joke! Sometimes it's better for some if the line is drawn for them only to save them from themselves! That and the tax payers money..

As far as the abortion thing goes I don't agree that it's right for a woman to have an abortion for convience sake the rubber broke or she forgot to take her pill. But then again it is not my right to judge her either. That job belongs to someone else. What I am strongly against though is when an underage school girl gets pregnant and she can get an abortion without her parents knowledge THAT is government over stepping it's bounds.

How pro family, pro choice people have it all wrong. What part of murder don't you understand? YOU screw-up and kill the baby for it? Save the baby and kill yourselves for cryin' out loud! It's not a choice when murder is involved. No state law or federal law can change the fact that one or more humans is extinguishing the life of a completely innocent baby human. Your baby will be on the jury of your judgment day.

The saying goes, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".

What many pro-choice types are saying is, "you all mean well, but there are unintended consequences from the implementation of pro-life political ideals; such as restricting the right of a woman to choose what is happening to her body".

If we do away with abortion, we are literally leaving hundreds of thousands of women stranded. We can't just outlaw abortion without addressing the larger issue which i believe is prevention and education. In this country we like to make rash decisions to overcorrect previous errors. Instead, we should dig at the root of this issue and not be so afraid to get our hands dirty.

I don't know about you - but the pat robertson/jerry falwell crowd has stated their clear intention to turn back the clock to a time when christian "morals" were the rule. Laws prohibiting abortion are a major step in their platform, as is putting organized prayer back in school.

You are wise beyond your years young lady. Liberals swear they are the champions of people's rights but they are referring to terrorists, child molestors, murderers, and illegal aliens. To these freaks, the people who deserve protection the most, unborn babies, babies, and also children have NO rights.
