Depends on how quickly you can make them. My own observation on the selling of hotcakes, can be viewed at any breakfast buffet:
You will immediately note, that by watching the way in which the hotcakes go~~very quickly, because, the customer tends to put more than one hotcake on his/her plate at one time.
Hotcakes, if they are served as a "all you can eat," sell quick!
That's where the expression: "They sell quick as hotcakes" came from. Or, the more, expressive: "going like Hotcakes!"

i assume you're talking about the perfectly delicious hotcakes of legend. i wouldn't know about that. pretty darn fast!!!!
my hotcakes sell as fast as um.. :( well...
someone was selling wilted flowers on the corner and someone said 'haha, he's selling those like luis' hotcakes'
and i cried.
