I know about tubes and wood, I just wanted something that lasted a little longer, thought raw hide would last longer, as all gerbil owner's know they can go through a cardboard tube in no time!!!! Just thought a raw hide would last longer, I don't use toilet paper that fast that I can keep them supplied with tubes.

i dont know why you couldn't it wont hurt anything. They may not like to chew on them though. I was thinking about getting one for my hamster to chew on but I dont know if she'd like it.

Yes you can.As long as it is raw hide designed for pets.Other types have chemicals which could cause harm to your gerbil.

give them wood pieces and toilet paper and paper towel rolls!!! cardboard boxes anything like that...its cheap and they LOVE them!!! it is exciting and new to them to chew and play with!! :)

You can, but they probably won't be interested. They are rodents and will want something harder to gnaw on.
