Well, it depends if they are Night or Day imps, and the specific breed. However, as a general rule, imps like to give annoyance, not take it. The best idea is to dust the air with some of Annlton's Imp-Away, and spray the pies and casseroles with Sour Pie 'N Cake. Neither of these should poison your co-workers. Too much. If neither of these measures work, call a warlock. It's expensive, but they should be able to rid you of imps, permanently.

Imps hate Cajun music. If you play Cajun music, even softly, they won't attend the potluck dinner. Another thing they hate to the point of fear, is rhubarb. Make or have someone make rhubarb pies. Place one at each corner of the table and that'll freak those imps out.

You can't -- if they are part of the company party. Only thing you can do is beat them to the food and get yours before they touch it. Besides, when you look back, their antics make your potlucks memorable.
We attended a party planned where no one was supposed to serve themselves. Servers were stationed behind each tray. I remember standing in line and my friend before me, pointing to (and deliberately touching to make sure she got it) the morsel of barbequed meat she wanted. We sat at the dessert table and watched everyone attack the good stuff, ignore the unpopular dishes. Good cooks and bad cooks/ all contributed and it was fun. We left before cleanup time.

Easy! Offer to print up the invitations. Two benefits here. One. Your boss will appreciate your kissing his a/s/s-even though you know your really not, so you still have your dignity! Two. When you print them, set it up to invite the cool people on the real date, and the idiots 2 days later. Legitimate mistake! When the bosses wife isn't invited-it was computer error!
