Mavs win not basically this evening, not basically the sequence, not basically the west, however the championships additionally! you may think of i'm loopy or basically some wacky obsessive fan butt the mavs didnt win sixty seven video games interior the season to bypass out interior the 1st around. additionally pondering it incredibly is fairly like the 5th ultimate record ever, not alot of people are enjoying like them. all the grievance on dirk is giving him skill to sell off tonie and the sequence. final 365 days he had a terrible game against the suns and everybody doubted him and WHAM, 50 factors the ntext game. additionally dont forget approximately the suns got here returned final 365 days whilst they have been interior the comparable subject because of fact the MAVS. Warriors ninety 8 Mavericks 104

Problem with Dallas going big is that their big men just aren't athletic enough (and I think Dampier has had an injury nagging him) to run with the Warriors. You'll need a team that can completely control the tempo (San Antonio, anyone?). Dampier and Diop will give you rebounds and blocks, but that's about it. I mean, even Nash got frustrated in the Suns' last meeting against the Dubs.
Warriors got rid of dead weight in Murphy and Dunleavy (especially the latter); seriously, we swindled Indiana in that trade and upgraded with Jackson and Harrington alone. Dallas hasn't even seen "Action" Jackson's play-making abilities in creating for teammates. People keep talking about how if Dallas made shots that would've made the difference, but what about if J-Rich, Ellis, Harrington, and Pietrus made it rain?
I'm not saying this will be a cakewalk for either team, but I have this gut feeling that Dallas will continually not know what "hit" them as the series continues. Also, people saying Warriors not playing defense is such a misnomer who get their information from misinformed media outlets like ESPN and TNT (Warriors are 3rd in blocks, led the league in steals, etc.)

Mavs... as Chuck Barkley has said, the Mavs should utilize their height advantage and not let the midgets have their way. It seems like Avery was reading a lot of commentary before the series began and took the advice of using small ball by going head to head with the GSW. Avery is a good coach and he will adjust accordingly. Dirk will bounce back from a mediocre showing in game 1. And the Mavs will have the usual contributions from the JET, and Josh Howard. I say Mavs in 6.

Well...If the Mavs lose, Dirk can forget about MVP. I think he's going to have to start trying, or just plainly play better.
