If you need to TRULY delete all references to the sites you have visited you're going to have to reformat the HD and reinstall the OS from scratch. Depending upon how your company deploys their machines, even that may not work.

You can do a quickie cleanup be deleting the temporary internet files and clearing the history. From Tools, Internet Options, there are buttons for that on the General tab. You'll pass a quick check but not a forensic examination of your machine.

I would use the find function to locate and empty ALL temp files, [edit: cookie files too!] go to Tools > Internet options > delete history and temp Internet files. Then I'd delete and reinstall the Internet Explorer. You'll also want to go through your Install/Delete program in your control panel. Just to make sure there's nothing there you don't want present.

Oh, and be sure to empty your trash bin afterwards!
Then defrag your drive.

Go to the Tools on the top line of your browser and click on it.

In the drop down menu, click on Internet Options.

Now, in the panel, click on Delete cookies, then Delete files and put a tick in the box by clicking it in next to "Delete all offline content" then come down and click on Delete History and then click on Apply and OK.

You're done.

Cheers!

Who's been a naughty boy?

You can just open up the history sidebar in Internet Explorer and right-click on them and click on delete. This deletes them from the History folder in your program files.

If its a Mac, you're on your own. Good luck.

The best thing is to download CC Cleanup. It is free and will delete EVERYTHING. Or you could go to tools, internet options, and clear history. It is in the last block. Good luck!!
