Machine fell ; then mouse stopped working;then keyboard stopped working;tested working mouse into mouse port and it doesn't work. Same with keyboard port. No lights on either the mouse or keyboard. Is machine done? Can you replace these ports easily? Did a system restore , couldn't finish because I have no keybord!!
any help will be appreciated. Thanks

easiest way around this would be to get a USB mouse and USB keyboard - If your computer has USB ports this will be much easier than replacing the mouse and keyboard ports. On most machines these ports connect directly to the motherboard, so you may have a motherboard issue.

You dropped your computer? A laptop?
Now the mouse and keyboard don't work - no flashing lights?
Sorry. Sounds like you knocked something loose. Better take it to the nearest reputable dealer.

If, you talking the actual port plug, this not sound correct. Something else wrong maybe software.

You might have to replace the motherboard
