Hank Greenberg had 103 RBIs by the time the 1933 all-star game rolled around. The only other player to crack 100 by the break is Juan Gonzalez, who had 101 in 1998:

If I recall, Juan Gonzalez hit 103 RBIs by the all-star break. A few have come close, but I think it's still in tact.

The above gave the correct answers..I would be curious to know who had the most RBI's at the halfway point of the season (81 games) or in the old era (77 games)..anybody know?

Hank Greenburg had 103 in 1933. Juan Gonzales had 101 at the break in 1998. JG came close but Greenburg has had it locked up for now.
