Ah, yes. Back when I went to school, the only threat was an angry principal, or a possible fire.
Biggest threat was that Miss Elliot would spank you with a rubber hose. Some even said that hose was split and had nails sticking out of it.

Yes I do. It was a far better time, when our goverment looked out for everyone, and people respected each other and the law and the leaders.
Such a time was destroyed in the '60s by people acting for short term advances by forcing change that never should have been made. It cost us a war, and international respect and we lost faith in what we stood for.
With the loss of that self-repect, we lost respect for everything including the lives of our children.

Considering that there was a mass murder of 45 people at a US school in 1927 by a catholic man and I was born in 1976, no I do not remember that.

yes i do, i also remember when i could carry a pocket knife in school without being arrested, and i could leave the house in the morning and not come home till dinner without anyone worrying about some sick freak kidnapping me

Actually no. By the time I became aware of my surroundings priests were being accused of molesting kids and high schoolers were going on shooting rampages.
