I am 14 years young and i have been dating this guy for about 6 months. we have never used protection and it turns out to be that i am now 2.5 months pregnant and just went to the docs to find that out. he knows about the baby and we have discussed possible names. for a girl, we already know that it is positively going to be Marilyn Rose. if the baby is a boy, then the middle name has to be Zakary because that is my boyfriends first name and in his family, the baby always takes the dads first name as its middle name. so im stuck with the middle name of Zakary and the last name of Dudley, so what about the first name? any ideas? this would be so great for me, and please respond, thank you guys so much!

Hi Shia,
first of all good luck with your baby and pregnancy there is a long tough journey ahead of you so make sure you get all the support you can and good on you for not getting an abortion i think they are horrible. i agree with another lady up above she did not ask you to tell her what you thought about her being pregnant she asked for names so answer the question or leave the poor girl alone. I have a friend who is a mum of 3 had her first at 11 she is now 26 and she is a brilliant mother!

any way here are my name choice for you..
cooper zachary
emmerson zachary
ezekiel zachary
ashton zachary

good luck sweet heart i wish you all the best dont listen to all the negative just be a good mother and thats all that counts! x

I'm 26 years old and am 29wks gone with my 1st, but i must say i admire u for standing by what you believe you sound like iu have been through enough to last a life time, and you have come out the other side which in my eye's would make you a very mature 14 year old so don't listen to other's!!

Blaine Zakary Dudley sounds nice or Calum Zakary Dudley
I wish you the 3 of you the very best of luck for the future
I hope these names help

Damn, ma...sorry to hear you're so young, but it's good that you are not getting an abortion. I wish you the best of luck, and I'm sorry all these people are giving you a hard time. It's not as though you haven't realized the seriousness of having a child at such a young age. Anyhow, Marilyn Rose is cute. Now, the name "Shia"...it's pronounced "shy", right? Like Shia LeBeouf? So your kid might be Shia Zakary Dudley...hm...I don't really like the flow of it. How 'bout Micheal Zakary? That one rolls off the tongue a little easier. Anyway, good luck deciding on a name, and even more luck with your new life! :)

Why is everyone so negative?!!!!!!!!??!

I read a story a few years back about a 13 year old boy expecting twins with his 17 year old girlfriend...no one had a good word to say about them back then but at the beginning of this year, The News Of The World done another interview with them to see how they are doing now...

The boy is now a man at 20 years old and is MARRYING the same girl, the mother of his twin girls. They also have another baby girl and they both work there ars** off to support their family. They don't get benefits, they WORK HARD and own a house with a mortgage!!

Obviously people have no faith in the youth of today, most people would rather give bad comments than give a shred of hope to this young couple. As for the people who wish this young lady luck, well done for not being so damn judgmental!

Best wishes Shia x

She wasn't asking for anyone's advice on if she should keep the baby or who is going to take care of the baby or anything like that. I'm sure she has already gone through all that and she doesn't need people talking like that right now.

Major props to you for not getting an abortion. You made my day, and I am happy for you. It always makes me so sad to hear of someone getting an abortion because we have been trying and trying to have a baby for over 2 years and then someone can get pregnant completely on accident and then give up their gift. That child is meant for something in this life. I'll be praying for you, congratulations.

Now for the names!
I love Marilyn Rose, and I won't suggest any girl's names since you are sure.
Can you use a variation of Zakary, like Zakariah? That goes better with the last name. Tanner Zakary, Shayne or Blaine zakary, Sanjaya Zachary (LOL, caught my eye on the baby names site) Jameson Zakary, Dalton Zakary...
Zakary is kinda hard for a middle name. I like it, but better as a first name.

First of all... coming from a Christian perspective, I'm glad that you are keeping the baby. That is a smart decision and if you choose adoption, that is also a smart decision. It's smart for you to do so. I don't believe in abortion.

I do like the aforementioned suggestion of Sean.
Sean Zakary would be very cute!

Good luck, Shia!

Gussie

eta: I also wanted to say that I'm glad to see a 14 year old pick out a great name like Marilyn Rose. I would almost expect a trashy name like McKenzie or McKaylee or something like that. Good choice there!

You should not be dreaming up names up for your imaginary pregnancy with your middle school boyfriend.

Pick up a book and read a bit.

I am a college graduate with a Masters degree who has just gotten married in the past year, and expecting my first. At 23, I'm wondering if I'm too young for a baby! And married!

If the pregnancy is true (I'm sure 90% of the other details aren't) you really should consider adoption! You have years and years ahead of you-- get out there and live a little, then have a baby when you're ready!

Well, Marilyn Rose is very pretty. Hate to stereotype teenage moms, but that's the classiest name I've seen from a teen parent.

For ____ Zakary Dudley, how about:
Caden
Logan
Thomas
Jason
Jackson
Robert
Richard
Spencer
Andrew
Anthony
Michael
Joseph
Jacob
Jonathan
Nathan
Ryan
Gabriel
Louis

How about:
1) Your dad's first or middle name
2) His dad's first or middle name
3) One of your grandfather's names
4) The name of someone in your family who has died but left an impact in your life?

Good luck Shia (is that your name?? And are you using his last name or are you two getting married?)!!
