I am wanting to start a business however I don't know who to contact to get a business license. Can some one help me please?

Contact your local city offices, you can find them in the blue section of your yellow pages.
In most states you get your license from the city in which you reside.
If you don't have a phone book, call 411 and ask your local Chamber of Commerce...

contact your state's governmental office to apply for a license, but you must also get incorporated federally by contacting the Internal Revenue Service at www.irs.gov.

Actually, the county government is the first place to state. Go to your local courthouse and ask at the information desk.
