Is the razorless hair removal (the kind that you just spray on your legs, wait a few minutes, and rinse off) at all harmful?

Something about it doesn't seem natural, but I'm tired of knicking myself and missing spots. :(

Try VEET brand razorless hair remover. it's not NEARLY as harmful as Nair is, b/c when I used to use nair, it left a discoloration spot that I still have, similar to what one was referring to as well. But no it's not harmful, just don't keep it on too long and use lukewarm water to take it off!! good luck!!

It's not harmful, but it can irritate your skin and cause zits, red marks, ingrown hairs, etc. This happens more often if you have overly sensitive skin. It works pretty well, very fast, and lasts very long, and is a good solution if your skin can handle the chemicals. If you keep knicking your self, try using a sensitive blade with aloe padding. Also, you could try using extra moisturizing shaving cream, such as Skintimate Baby Fresh. Also, if you use the hairless remover, remember to moisturize your skin often! :)

I dont know about spray ons, but the one and ONLY time I tried nair I had just started to put it on and I felt it burning and I thought that must be how it works but then It felt on fire and I washed it off right away but it still left a discoloration scar on my thigh that I still have. I must be CRAZY allergic to it clearly. I dont know about you. I'll take my chances shaving.

i don't think it would be harmful. i tried one of those one time but it didn't work too good for me. its not as easy and doesn't work as well as they make it seem on the commercials.
