I was telling a friend about the cost of something and at the age of 26 I NEVER new there was not a CENT key on the keyboard, oh yeah I am mad.. We get the dollar one ($) but no cents one... I am so writing Congress about this in the Morning...

Good luck with that...you can still indicate cents by spelling out "cents". On older keyboards, there used to be a cents uppercase key where what is now a ^ key is, but guess not enough people used the cents key to keep it active in today's environment is what you are likely to be told.

The people who developed ASCII decided since few things cost less than a dollar $0.25 was a good enough way to type 25 cents.
