Sadly its true...and believe it or not dubya's cronies are the ones TO blame because it is him and is secret little order of criminals to convince the nation the fallacies are true and rushed into war. Also...I understand that soldiers, sailors, marines airmen lost their lives in WWII and other wars in numbers 10x greater or more per battle...but that was actual WARFARE...this is soldiers who are placed in a position of glorified police officers in the middle of another country's civil war and just like Vietnam, do not know who to trust (remember the police and soldiers who have been trained, armed, uniformed and then became traitors). Our service men and women are fighting against terrorists who want us OUT of THEIR country and over 70% of Americans want us HOME so they, the Iraqis can figure their politics out on their own, Doesn't anyone get it...there is NO GOOD WAY OUT!?! We will not WIN an un-win-able war!!! Our guys are being wounded, traumatized and killed for WHAT and WHO?

Jay is very correct on this one. We've lost far more, and in some cases for far less. If we took this mindset in WW2, then we'd all be speaking German or being beat by Japanese gaurds (and don't try and say thats not true cause it is). Next you'll be saying that FDR didn't give a damn about the 407,000 U.S. soldiers, sailors and airmen that died in WW2. I'd seriously like to see some of your comments made in 1941...right after being beaten within an inch of your life and jailed for espionage and sedition.
I hope to God that people with this view point NEVER make it into office. One of these days we are going to have a REAL war in which we have to make sacrifices. Seriously, if we can't fight in Iraq against a bunch of punks, how will we be able to stand up to a nation like China or Russia? Most people don't understand this, but the terrorists WILL kill us if they get a chance.
As for who and what we are fighting for? We're fighting over there so they don't behead us over here. But hey, if you guys feel comfortable with Akbar, the Taliban, coming to America.... Remember your history, Akbar flew the planes into those big buildings, THEN Bush invaded. Please, don't let your stupidity get me killed.

Please keep this in mind.
What he says.
What he thinks.
What he does.
Are 3 completely different things.
What he says is scripted, planned ect..
and has nothing to do with the truth, it is there to placitate the people.
Bush does not care about 9 lives, he does not care about 3,000 lives or 3 mil.
He cares about the following.
Advancing the plans of the NeoCons and the Skull and Bones.
Becoming rich.
Accumulating power for himself and the NeoCons.
His own life.
His own personal dream, to be dictator.
He let that slip accidentally once, you notice that he never again 'joked' about it.

I'm thinking it's more than likely his state of insanity. April will be the 4th month in a row that the number of our troops killed in Iraq will be over 80 and will probably be over 100 for the month.

I wasn't aware Bush was actually running the war himself. If I am not mistaken he has generals and service personal to do that. I understand from family who are serving in Iraq at this minute, things are not as they appear in a whole as reported on CNN, NBC, and other biased news sources. I have to go with my family on this on.

The question is how many more will we loose? It is not just Bush - he has support of crazy lunatics who would level the country rather then feel defeated.

I fail to work out the hyperlink between Obama enjoying golfing and the death of those squaddies. i think you think of that if Obama could have been interior the Oval workplace 24 / 7 with no 2nd of sleep those deaths could have been prevented?

We all deserve the blame as well. We are not doing enough to bring Bush's insane adventure to an end.

In one day during WWII 249 sailors died in a training exercise. It was considered an acceptable loss.
How many people died on Tarawa. Acceptable loss. Each beach on the Pacific Campaign, at least 15,000 soldiers and sailors died. Acceptable loss.
It was believed ONE MILLION soldiers would die on the beaches of Honshu (mainland japan) Acceptable losses.
How many people died today in the U.S. due to faulty brakes? A lot more than 9. No one is screaming. 36 kids died from bad milk. No one is screaming.
More than 50 died last night from drunk drivers. Very few are screaming about these numbers....
If Democracy and religious freedom is not worth 9 lives today....What is?
