He is still making movies. Just not Hollywood blockbusters. To avoid being typecast he's been choosing to do independent movies that showcase his acting talent instead of his boyish looks. He's recieved critical acclaim for movies such as 'Party Monster' and 'Saved!'. Next year will show the release of his newest independent feature called 'Sex and Breakfast'. Before he got back into acting again he spent the previous years going to school, marriage, divorce. He just wants to be know as an actor and not a movie star ;-)

He makes non-blockbuster films now because no one will cast him in the more prominent roles.
Have you seen him lately? He isn't the same cute kid who caught peoples' hearts in My Girl or made people laugh in Home Alone.
It is unfortunate but unavoidable. Most child actors don't make it into adulthood. Some exceptions include Drew Barrymore, Kirsten Dunst and Ron Howard.

He was said to be a drug addict or something.. Last Sept. 18, 2004, he was charged for drug possesion.. I don't know what he's doing now..
