why do catholic schools get funding as much as the public school. No other religous school gets funding from the government. Can some one explain the reason of that. Since every one payes the same amout of takes why are some of the taxes wasted on the Catholic schools. Where u have to be a christian to attend the school. And at the school you have to practic the chirisitan religion.

Private schools do not get private funding at this time. Also, many Catholic schools allow students of any faith to go, although they may still require bible classes and mass.

First off, where does government get the authority to run schools? When did education become a function of government?

Education has historically been the purview of the parents. When government determines the curriculum, education becomes political indoctrination.

If you object to tax dollars being used, excuse me, wasted on the Catholic schools, perhaps you will join me in trying to build a wall of separation between school and state.
