No he is just locked in. He had two horrible slumps last season, and now he's hot. Things tend to even out. Some guys have a hot week or two, he's been on fire for a month.
Last year, A-Rod was thinking too much, now he's just going up there and mashing. Another reason he's not on 'roids, he has lost 15 pounds. You can tell just by looking at him. He had trouble on the ball up last year, but now he's quicker and hammering it.

yes, because only people who use steroids can hit homeruns. whether or not they have ever tested positive, they all use..................i'm sick of this. can't someone just be good?
he is ripping it up, just like pujols did last year. drop the steroid talk unless you are talking about players who have admitted or tested positive for steroid use.
here's who you can talk about
caminiti
canseco
palmiero
the random dudes on the devil rays
giambi, only because he had the balls enough to say he's done things that he shouldn't have and he's sorry. pretty close to an admittion.
bonds, mcgwire, sosa, arod, pujols, .............no one these guys have ever tested positive. let it go.

Absolutely not. He even lost weight between last season and this. Hes just an amazing player. He's much better than Bonds could ever dream to be, regardless of whether or not A-Rod ever hits that many homers.

I was thinking the same thing. whenever ANY home run record is about to be tied or broken we have to question the player.
We just can't trust the players until the MLB has NFL style or olympic style drug testing.
or perhaps he has a corked bat or 2.

I think A-Rod is legit. Unlike Bonds, I don't think A-Rod has used anything, he is just having a good month. Remember Pujols was putting up the same types of numbers last year.

Would'nt suprise me if he was. He has been in such a bad place (mentally) that I could see him doing possibly anything to get back to the way he was in his earlier playing days. I would'nt count it out, but I would'nt look to the steroids issue right now. He seems like a decent guy. I don't know that he would do something like that. But it would'nt suprise me. We'll see.....

I doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised though. He would probably do just about anything to get those crazy Yankee fans off his back after a rough 06 season.
