Why are British celebrities being forced on America?

I mean no disrespect to the UK, I am just wondering why their celebrities are being forced on the states by the media.

I mean, who honestly cares about the Beckhams in the US? It's not that Americans don't like soccor, because plenty do (although it not nearly as popular as football), we just don't care about the Beckhams.

And who the hell are Katie and Peter? Are we supposed to know/care?

i`m glad of it, personally!!! i don`t give 2 s**ts for the celebrities here, the uk has much better musicians & actors than the u.s....it`s about time everyone else realized it too!!!
