you're right, tall boys tend to spill more beer than short ones. i think the longer drop is the problem. but if you take the screws off the back of the keyboard then you can get it apart pretty easily. you can clean off the rubber pad on the inside with no trouble. but the keys will still stick. you have to get them out and wipe them off. they have little clips on the sides, it's a little more difficult to get them out than to snap them back in. Just be sure to get them back where they belong. shouldn't have to worry much about electronic components, just dont soak them.

Most keyboards have removable keys. Turn the power off before starting. You need to take each key out (a few at a time if you don't know your qwerty lay out so you know where they go back), clean each key and the area underneath. Then let it dry completely.
Hope you've learnt your lesson :)
P.S. Why would youj drink beer in a tall boy - they're better suited to water. Beer better in schooners, pints and pots. :)

Take off the keys by using a staple remover, butter knife, or anything like that. Then, (while the keyboard is unplugged) take a cloth, and dampen it as little as you can, and wipe off the gunk that should have accumulated under the keys. Then wait at least a half an hour before plugging it back in.

As long as it isnt a wireless keyboard you can put it in the dishwasher (keys down) Just make sure to stop before the dry cycle and disable any heat/hot water settings. When done take it out and remove cover and shake and then set out to dry for a few days. If its a cheapie just go to your local Thrift store/salvation army and get another for a dollar or two.

Perhaps you should purchase a new keyboard. You can get
a used one if you search on line and it shouldn't cost that much. Next time you're thirsty try a tall glass of water while you are using your computer and everything might come out better!

Brother, let me tell you something that will let you save money and spill all the beers you want on your keyborad and you never have to buy a new one again.
There is a rollup see thru keyboard. It is so durable you can let your lazy-eyed arthritis-jilted horse piss on it and it will still work. It will stink but it will keep on kickin even after the cows come back home.
