WKRP in Cincinnati would be my #1 pick. Great cast and writing... never lost stride.

I wish Night Court could have gone one one more year, just to have had a better wrap up for the series than it got.

I think Greg the Bunny should have been given a better chance to stay on the air and try and pick up an audience. I like twisted shows like that.

There is only one show I can think of, off the top of my head, that ended prematurely that I wish was back on.

That is "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr."

Now, that said, there are shows that faded, got bad, 'jumped the shark' etc, and subsequently went off the air that I wish were still on, if they had remained as good as they were in the prime of their runs.

in that category:

XFiles
M*A*S*H*
Roseanne (pre lottery ticket and Dan's infedelity, and return of 1st becky fiascos)
All in the Family
Jeffersons
Dynasty
Melrose Place

in all honesty, though, all good things must come to an end

I am satisfied with the shows that had closure and had a real final episode. I wish the ones with cliffhangers could have stayed on the air or at least had a final episode. The ones I can think of on the top of my head are: Brandy, Living Single,
and One on One I am sure there are more that I can't think of,
you know the shows that suddenly got cancelled and you never got to see the real final episode.

Firefly

Futurama - Cartoon Network is making at least 1 movie though! So there's going to be something new for it!

The Tick - The short lived live action show.....I saw the show on TV before they pulled it and bought the DVD. I love it!

It's not a sitcom, but I was really miffed when they canceled Firefly. That show rocked!!!

Edit:

The chick below me has a point. Titus was great. I have all three seasons on DVD. The first episode "Dad's Dead" was enough to get my whole family hooked.

nicely it could extremely count on how i'm approximately to die. If i'm approximately to be murdered or if this is unexpected i could ask for 5 minutes to think of approximately my life, the persons in my life, and that i could prey. If this is yet in a distinctive way and that i've got a good volume of time i could talk over with the persons i like and notice them one final time.

You can still find classic sitcoms on Nick@nite and TV Land.
Roseanne still comes on Nick@nite & sometimes Oxygen.

The TV show I wanna see come back on is Alvin & the chipmonks from the 1980s

Salute your Shorts and a bunch of old Nickelodeon shows. I don't know why but they bring back good memories and are actually funny compared to some of the nonsense that they air today.

Seinfeld. I still watch the reruns, hillarious. Maybe a new All in the Family. It's a shame we are so 'politically correct' that was a dang funny show.
