What would you consider American food?

I mean what is American food.... its stolen from basically everything else....in other countries do they talk about American food the same way American's talk about Chinese or Italian food?

anything that is not considered something else..if it's not italian, mexican, chinese, japanese, and so forth, then it's american to me

Well when you say American food there is Continental American, Southern Food, Texan Food, Alaskan Food basically each region has a food of its own.

However to answer you question

American Food = FAST FOOD

.....all over the world evreyone know the most unhealthy food comes from America. HOTDOGS WITH MUSTARD has to be the most famous oh yeah and Coca Cola

There are also cheese burgers, chili fries,corn dog, mac and cheese, pizza (yeh we know its nativity is Italian but ever1 reckons its American......

Yes if you go to other countries and you are American,you realize that not everyone serves up eggs and bacon and hash browns for breakfast,also,good luck getting a cheese-burger,or a hot dog(what I consider American foods) stolen or not,their standard American foods.
