my friend came over to visit me and he wanted to use my computer but but i put a log-in password on it. theres no way he coulda guessed the password because its most complicating. my dad, the computer expert, came into the room and some how, he did something that allowed access into my computer without needing to know my password. the guest account is disabled, and there is no other user on the screen than me. the account he logged into was the administrator account. is there a master password? what did he do and how did he do it? is there a way of unlocking the computer if you forget your password?

At the default logon screen, press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice. You'll be presented with the domain-style logon screen. Type Administrator for the user name. In a default installation, the password will be blank so just press Enter and you should be logged in as Administrator. Go into Users & Passwords in Control Panel and set a password for the Administrator account. Do NOT lose this password!

The Administrator account does not show up on the default logon screen but it IS there!

Your dad simply logged in as administrator. It seems that you are set up with limited access - smart dad!!

Or he might have gotten into safe mode and entered into the computer as an administrator and then might have made some configurations.
