Do you ever get calls from acting agencies? The ones that you register for online and you give them your address/number/etc...I KNOW...I'm so dumb, I gave this "audition site" my cellphone number, and now this guy keeps calling me to take headshots. Every call is about how he rescheduled the headshot session, and that I should come at a specific time or day. I know it's my fault, but have any of you experienced the same thing? I know, I know, I'm dumb for giving away my number, but I was desperate to be on T.V.!

*By the way, in order to make the guy go away, should I block his number first, or let one of my guy friends tell him 'WRONG NUMBER DUDE!".

***Oh, if I should block him on my cellphone, please tell me how to do that!

THE SITES THAT I REGISTERED FOR ARE LIKE THE "FREE" ONES.

Never register with online agencies. Talent Agencies are prohibited from advertising or having a website. If they are legitimate they will lose their Agency license and the Department of Labor will close them.

If they advertise or have a website - stay away from them.

The guy sounds like as scam. Turn on your answering machine and don't return his calls.

Legitimate Agencies do NOT behave in that manner. They do not ask you take headshots because they know actors know what they are supposed to do if they want to act.

Go to bbb.org and see if there is negative information about the agency. Call the Department of Labor and ask if it is a legitimate Talent Agency. Probably not!

The best free site for acting information is BackStage.com

This guy is a complete scam artist! If he is charging more that $600 for a 5 roll or 5 look photo shoot then he is NOT legit. Tell him you will report him to SAG or the authorities. Do not fall for his sh*t. Believe me if he was truly professional he would not need to be calling you all the time. There are enough stars and actors to call. Tell him what he is doing is wrong and illegal and considered harassment. Then block him from your phone.
