Well, my first thought was, someone was fighting it, it was a court case. I doubt if it was a non-Christian liberal, or for that matter a Christian liberal, leading the way.

The stone pictured, the soldier had a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, he gave his life. He could have anything he wants.

I have no problem with it.

I am surprised that the ACLU has not gotten involved to prevent ANY religious symbolism on soldiers' graves that are funded with government money on government land.

I'm a moderate, but I don't see a problem with it. Every religion should be allowed on the headstones if they were practiced by the soldier.

I would imagine that it is, but it certainly is not an abomination to me! I think it is fabulous! It is about time, that the mainstream become more open minded about people who hold alternative beliefs! *sm*

Probably - they spew religious freedom speech rhetoric - but they hardly ever back it up with actions when it isn't their religion.
