Although exhibiting slightly effeminate traits, the gaydar is at 0. I would think that these slight effeminate traits would lead straight people to question his sexuality, and that questioning would lead him to associate with groups that are unfriendly to gay people.

Even though he might look like he is you really can't judge just by the basic overused stereotypes(motions,hair,clothes, voice and so on). The only true way of knowing is him saying that he is or not.
