A few years ago i would have agreed with your mother, but if you watch just 30 minutes of Tv a day, listen to the news or read a newspaper at least once a week... You're going to see, read, and hear about how the pharmacy world is now turned on it's ears with lawsuits for just about every drug out there.
Would you like to be named in a multi-million dollar lawsuit for dispensing, endorsing, distributing, or being part of the manufacturing process of any drug these days?
Just something to think about.

Pharmacy programs are not easy to get into or easy to get through, but if you do get a pharmacy degree, you'd have your choice of jobs and at a very good salary.
So it's a good idea for someone who likes math and science and is willing to study really hard.
Good luck.

Yes! I think it is a terrific choice. The need for pharmicists is great. As a pharmicist, you will be a part of one of the fastest growing (and highest paying) industries in the U.S.
