Does anyone dislike her arrogance and narcissism as much as I do?

I don't really pay attention to what she does and what she's going around to say, but you've got to listen and understand that the media has this blown up idea of what a true Hollywood legend much like Barbara Streisand and others should live, talk, and be like. But they shouldn't be that way because celebrities and all other people should have free rights of being who they want to be and who they are inside. So if you think that Barbara Streisand is really narcissistic and displeasing and really too arrogant, then that's just you, but if you think about all of the misjudgements and difficulties that the media makes for these poor and helpless celebrities, then you'll know that Barbara Streisand is not a bad person.

Although I find her music to be a bit too "easy listening" for MY particular taste, I must say that I think you have a false impression of her as a person.
I met her once, and she was far from arrogant or narcissistic. On the contrary, in fact, she seemed quite humble and soft-spoken to me! (If you want to call someone arrogant & narcissistic, that would be DIANA ROSS - I've met her, too!!!)

She is quite eccentric. But celebs all have a bit of eccentricity in them.
One of my friends said one time (I don't remember who we were watching to make him/her say this) that some actors feel that they're a gift to the world, that they're just as important as doctors curing cancer. He/She was clearly upset. Some actors do sound like that. Arrogant and narcissistic. I don't agree though. I think that actors entertain and create art for us to enjoy so they are important in a different way.
Barbra Streisand? Well...she's just eccentric.

Sorry to yell but that is something I feel very strongly about. All of that business with having to have a white microphone on Oprah many years ago.... She is a total loser.

I enjoy her acting and singing, but I think her politics are a bit "out there".....and I am so "not" a republican.
