My wife uses dry oatmeal instead of bread crumbs.
Makes it kind of sweet. Very tasty.

I like to add one packet of Lipton onion soup mix, I also add 1 tsp. of liquid smoke, One egg, some barbecue sauce enough to bring it together, some crackers about 15 should do, and make it in a meat loaf pan pour some of the barbecue sauce on top of the uncooked meat loaf cover with foil bake at 350 for one hour but uncover the last 10 minutes. And enjoy!

Try a packet of dry mushroom soup, similar to Lipton Onion soup mix.Or you can mix pork and veal with the ground beef, or lamb meat or even a can of tomato soup, cream of broccoli soup is good too.

Thai peanut sauce.
Or instead of bread crumbs or crushed crackers, try wheat germ! It binds the meat, and adds a nice wholesome flavor to it.

I make mine with: Meat, shredded cheese, rice, bread crumbs, BBQ sauce, onion, green pepper, eggs to bind it all together and then I put a light layer of BBQ sauce on top.

I use ketchup. In the mix, and as a glaze. And stuffing instead of cereal or bread crumbs.

I mix some ground cinnamon in with my BBQ sauce and baste in on top of my meatloaf.
