...it depends upon which Baragon you're talking about!!!

There's the Baragon, who was pitted against a giant Frankenstein monster, in the 1965 Japanese film, "Frankenstein Conquers the World" (with a quick cameo appearance in 1968's "Destroy All Monsters"....by the way "Frankenstein Conquers the World" will soon see DVD release, with the original ending, where Frankie battles a giant octopus...a precursor scene to the similar prologue of the official sequel to "Frankenstein...", entitled for U.S. release, 1966's "War of the Gargantuas", also slated for DVD release, at the same time).

Then again, you might be talking about the Baragon that was pitted against the giant monster turtle, Gamera, in the 1966 film, "War of the Monsters" (with footage excised for the 'greatest Gamera hits' films, 1968's "Destroy All Planets" and 1980's "Gamera: Super Monster").

...yeah, I think I know just a little bit about Baragon, ya' think???

Baragon (バラゴン, Baragon?) is a fictional kaiju that was first featured in the 1965 Toho produced film, Frankenstein vs. Baragon (a.k.a Frankenstein Conquers the World). Baragon is a four-legged reptile with a horn on his head and large ears. His main weapon is a heat ray that he can fire from his mouth. In addition, he can jump very high and burrow through the ground. Baragon is not to be confused with the Gamera series kaiju, Barugon, despite some similarities between the two creatures.
