Your best shots are going to be going up and down Silverado Trail on the east side of the valley. Mumms winery has beautiful views, and an excellent Ansel Adams exhibition.

I second the balloon ride. It's incredible and the views from Yountville to Napa, you can see all the way to the Golden Gate. We have some excellent photos from our last trip.

Visit downtown Napa for historic buildings. But do NOT take the Wine Train. The only thing you'll see is the backs of buildings and litter. And it's overpriced. It was a huge disappointment.

You should check out the old Christian Bros. winery. It was one of the first ones in Napa Valley. For other great views, go to Sterling near St. Helena. There's a tram that takes you to the top of the hill to the tasting room. I worked there once...it's GORGEOUS with Japanese gardens. Incredible.

Good luck, this is a beautiful place!

Take the Mark West there are a lot of pretty spots , also the Silverado Trail is very nice . But a place you must see is in St Helena and its near the Beringer Winery, and the Culinary Institute, its a street that goes for about 1/2 mile that has an arch of trees that you travel thru very nice its a must see also Sutter Homes is very nice . Plus the town of St. Helena is very quaint , Maybe get on a Hot Air Balloon and take a few shots. Good Luck...
