If you have a book in you, or 60, by all means - you should definitely write it (or them). It's awesome to dream big dreams and put the hard work into achieving them.
As far as your book getting recognized, the publishing industry is very cutthroat. Publishing houses are into making money, they only choose a certain number of books per year for publication. It will usually come from people who already have an established writing career, or people who are already famous.
That is not to discourage you. That's just to give you a look at the cold hard facts. If you start now, though, and you believe you have something to say, then you should definitely go for it! Recognize that it's not an instant success kind of thing and it's not as easy as just emailing Tyra.
There are some great resources for teen writers out there. You may want to take a look at this:

Dream big and work hard! I wish you the best in all your future endeavours, whether it be nursing or writing or whatever you choose!!

Yeah, go ahead and e-mail Tyra. and Oprah while you are at it. I'm sure it's so easy. Being a 15 year old African-American you are such a rare thing in the U.S. and all.
OK, end of sarcasm.
Should you write a book? That depends on if you are prepared to work at the craft and if you have any skill. There is a difference between an idea and a finished novel.
Will you get recognized? If you are wasting time bothering talk show hosts, no. That isn't how it works. You submit the finished book to an agent and/or publisher, and they promote it. Search the resolved questions for "How do I publish". The question has been asked and answered a million times.
Is it even worth it? Depends. Writers, real writers, write because they HAVE TO. They have something to say, and want to share it with the world. The act of writing is in and of itself worthwhile. If you are writing because you think it will make you rich and famous, don't bother.

Well think about what the stuff involves. Will the modern day ppl like it or find interest in it? Is it detailed and something that is deep enough to expand on and get ppl thinking? Those are just a few things you should do b4 u publish. Write a few things down and send them to friends or family and see what they say. get some peer advice from those that would really appreciate what you do. Once you do that see how things turn out. If things go great then go for it. The world could use as many good books as it can get.

If that is what you wish...
...but be wary of those who snare on other writers' works and use them as their own. It all depends on what you want to share to the world. May it be a world you imagined or invented(I hope it is a pleasant and moral one you are writing) or on your own experiences that you what to share.
Make sure it is something that people would like to read or your efforts would be somewhat wasted. Just take your time writing and have a trusted friend or relative to help you in the process. Writing involves a lot of revisions of your 1st or 2nd drafts involving corrections of grammar and spelling which can be both exhausting and frustrating.
Wherever if you publish your book or not depends on what you feel about it. So take some time to think deeply and wisely. Maybe it is best to wait or maybe you could just try going for it. Your choice.

You may not be a success today, nor tommorow. But never give up! Work hard, and one day you could be a writer.
Remember, Stephen King threw his first novel in the trashcan, his wife retrieved it, and look what a hit Carrie was!
I would love to read some of your writing. Do you have it posted anywhere?

BE VERY sure you have your work Documented before submitting. I would not trust people a whole hell of a lot.
