I have so many different styles of clothes. I have everything from preppy, gothic, emo, nerdy ect....
sometimes i feel like wearing preppy clothes sometimes i feel like wearing emo clothes ect... but, some people are calling me a poser because I like all styles and I can't just pick one. I like wearing what I feel that day. is this weird or wrong?

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! There is nothing wrong at all with wearing what fits your mood best at the time. im 24 and sometimes i feel all grungy so i'll wear clothes to that genre, sometimes i feel really feminine so ill wear girly things. im expressing who i am and how i feel and no can have an opinion on how i feel !!! these people making you question yourself are not your friends so tell them to go jump! whats important here is that you dont let their ill informed judgements affect you, THIS IS WHO YOU ARE!! and they need to accept you for it. i have an ecclectic bunch of friends all with different interests and personalities i dont judge them and they dont judge me some dress skimpy some grunge some emo some goth some classy etc they can dress in their underwear for all i care its not how they dress that our friendship is based on its WHO THEY ARE!!
So, my answer is this;
wear what you like when you like how you like and be happy.
if they cant accept you dont hang out with them there is plenty of people out there like you and they arent posers at all. its not weird or wrong

Screw other people. You should start wearing different styles together, like a preppy dress with Doc Marten's, a military style jacket with a dramatic gothic gypsy type skirt, or an American Eagle camisole with a demin cutoff skirt and some ripped fishnets. Just go to your closet and start mixing and matching, put different things together and see how they look. Don't forget to accessorize. That way you won't be a poser anymore, you'll have your own unique look and if you want to have all all-goth or all-punk day, no one will really noticed. Seriously, I've gone to class in some of the strangest ensembles imaginable. Have fun!

I don't think that it is weird or wrong. It is you and it is how you express yourself. I don't particularly go with a style either. I just where whatever I feel like and whatever I like. Just like you. If people are calling you a poser its becuase they don't really know you and they need to be put in their place. Besides there is nothing wrong with looking preppy one day then nerdy the next. I do it all the time. lol.

not at all....it makes you who you are. I don't believe in making your style fit into one single box. why should you have to have a label as something? and by definition I would that a poser would be if for example you were a preppy and you started to dress all gothic (emo now? i am old so it was goth in the early 90s). That would be a poser.

Ironically you are probably the only one who is actually original because you don't feel the need to fit into one narrow stratum of style, its the people who "rebel' with emo and stuff, thinking they are so original all blacked out, who don't even realize they are expressing their individuality by dressing like every other depressed teen out there.
It sounds like you may be a fashionista in the making, if people get on your case about being a poser just tell them you love fashions...all fashion...and that maybe you might like to get into the fashion industry or something and you feel restricting yourself to one style is for boring people with no imagination.

Preppy clothes, goth clothes, punk clothes...how about just CLOTHES? Wear what makes you happy. It's not up to others to dictate your style. All of the great fashion icons set their own trends, rather than follow everyone elses'.

Like no way!!! That's so not weird and it's like not wrong either. I go between styles, too! All the time. Ignore what people call you. You know the truth about yourself and your style, they don't. So if you know it's not true, don't even worry about it. Your style shows your emotion or your mood, not what stereotype you are trying to be because you aren't trying to be one. You're just yourself and no one else. Be happy with it!! =D =] As long as you're happy with yourself, don't worry about what others think of you because they don't live your life....YOU DO. =]

Tell them you can't be a poser if you don't label yourself. You are you, not a emo or prep. Wear what you want, sometimes I wear all black and sometimes I have a pink anime shirt on.
I just wear what I like.

No, ur not a poser. You just like most clothes. Me, i hate looking like everyone else. I always try to look as different as possible, even if it means standing out. Lol =)
