Yeah, it's basically what all the others have stated. Ohio originally had Geauga Lake and Sea World, then Six Flags bought them out and called it Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. The park did not do well, so the owners of Cedar Point bought the whole park out. They converted Geauga Lake back to how it was originally (minus most of the original water slides and some of the older sections of the park) and just changed the names of the rides. The sold off the animals and converted the animal area into a pretty cool waterpark with lots of new stuff. And for 25 dollars you get into both the amusement and water park.....not a bad deal.....

Not anymore.
SeaWorld was bought out by Six Flags several years ago, which was bought out by Cedar Fair about 2 or 3 years ago. They have since removed all of the animals. Not sure if they've done anything with the space yet or not.

No :(
Six Flags took it over 1998 and eventually closed the Sea World half. Cedar Fair bought the park in 2004 and renamed it Geauga Lake (the amusement side) and they are slowly converting the old Sea World side into a water park.

No. It was bought out by Six Flags when they owned Geauga Lake (then Six Flags World's of Adventure), and the two parks were then merged together. Six Flags sold Geauga Lake to Cedar Fair in 2004 and it continues to operate under Cedar Fair's control.

No, it's part of Gaugea Lake now. They don't have any wildlife animals there anymore. Instead, they have a waterpark, and they still have the motion simulators along with other rides. Six Flags bought Sea World, and combined it with the park they had. Cedar Fair bought Six Flags, and now it's called Gaugea (spelling) Lake. It used to be called Six Flags World of Adventures, or something like that.

No and I miss it terribly. Geauga Lake is nice since they made it 2 parks in one and reasonably priced as well. But I still miss Sea World! :(
