To begin with I hear Jesus was a carpenter. So to be armed with an AK-47, M-16, etc. That would kind of make him a hypocrite of sorts. Now the question is. would he and the apostles have joined the NRA?

Now if he were armed with the scriptures and the word of god, not all.

I hope this helps you my son, and or daughter.

Depends on what they'd be armed with, and if they chose to use them. I remember in the Bible, it said Peter cut the ear of of a soldier with a sword, not sure if it was his or if he took it from someone. With guns, the soldiers would probably try to arrest them, since they'd have no idea what it was the apostles were holding (guns). I doubt Jesus would let them open fire on the soldiers. Jesus knew he had to be crucified, so no matter if the apostles were unarmed, had clubs, uzis, RPG launchers, sockem boppers, nuclear missles, or whatever, he still would have let himself be crucified. Who knows if the apostles would have retaliated after or not.

Have you read the Bible? The apostles were armed. One of them cut of the ear of one of the soldiers sent to arrest Jesus.

Jesus didn't encourage the use of violence for resistence. Instead, he told them to stop resisting, and then he healed the ear of the soldier!

Jesus had to be crucified, and he knew it. Therefore, he was not going to fight it.

you recognize little of the Roman enjoyment circuses - they have been unfastened. part of the Roman coverage of considerable bread and espresso-value laughs. retains the plebs chuffed. Be warned. Now, your question - the Romans did no longer know it yet they have been getting used to fulfill prophecies approximately Christ Jesus. The Jewish non secular leaders (who have been those agitating for Jesus' dying) ought to no longer carry out executions for alleged blasphemy because of the fact Rome on my own held that authority. so as that they have been given Pilate to settle for a charge of sedition against the Roman government. regardless of if it replaced into no longer shown, all the activities led as much as the crucifixion because of the fact Jesus had to be hung on a wood stake as a curse, to develop into the accursed one upon whom all the sins of the international have been laid. His blood additionally had to be shed, as blood represents life, and due to this sacrifices to God in touch laying off blood. each final component labored out in accordance with what replaced into written in the Hebrew scriptures. no longer that the Romans, or maximum folk on the instant, have any concept approximately that.

He wouldn't have been crucified if he hadn't pissed the Jews... even Pontius Pilate initially found Jesus not guilty, but was pressed to convict him...
