I love rock!! There's so much variety, and so many lucious bands!!!! I love Chevelle, Incubus, and some alternative rock bands. I also like Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, etc. Rap is too...well, generic. Everything is just talking in a monotone voice, lots of cuss words [not to stereotype] and one boring beat in the background. No variety. Every rock song, band, and album is extremely unique. Also, rock is so much more worth it, because you ACTUALLY HAVE SKILL!! Rockers can PLAY INSTRUMENTS and SING MORE THAN ONE NOTE!!! Rappers can just come off the street and speak in rhymes. That, my friend, is called POETRY which you do at a COFFEE SHOP at a POETRY SLAM!!! Rockers can change it up every time. Bands like Chevelle don't use artificial noises and voices. They use their amazing skills and talent, and write music and lyrics that actually mean something uniquely special and meaningful. Rock is meaningful. I mean, alot of todays rap is cussing, dirty things, no instruments, and talking. Rap-good music??? All I can say is: "????" Rock is what it's all about.

Rap, rock is for crazy people who like to break stuff. Anyone can scream nonsense over a screeching guitar, but it takes a true artist to compose lyrics and the perfect beat to accompany those lyrics.

ROCK N ROLL!!! im more for hard rock and metal and older rock like In flames, metallica, guns n roses, led zeppelin etc but it depends on the person. if you wanna dance put on some "pour some sugar on me" or "poppin" whatever floats your boat.
