Hey TR - what's with the slam (x-ray technician or "radiologic technologist" as they erroneously label themselves)? Screw you. I worked damn hard to earn the title of radiologic technologist.

Anyway, to answer the question...if you would like to be a radiologic technologist, you can find schools at either of these two links:
http://arrt.org/index.html?content=http://www.arrt.org/nd/listOfSchools.ndm/listSchools&iframe=yes

The quickest way to find this out is to visit a community college's career development office. (If they have those courses, they'll try to recruit you--but they also will share other places where you could study, if you mention that you might be relocating within state. That's not a lie--you really might, even if you don't intend to at this time.)

Now, at what level do you want radiology?

If you want to be employed as an x-ray technician (or "radiologic technologist" as they erroneously label themselves) then you probably can earn a license through a two-year program at a community college. Further training to qualify for nuclear medicine or some other specialization would be a future option.

If you want to become a board-certified radiologist, then you need to finish your BS in pre-med or a related field, do 3 years of med school followed by general internship and residencies, then go back for specific coursework and residencies in radiology, finally earning your certification in that speciality by your state board.
