What are some examples of external conflict? and internal conflict?

External conflict is when your kid brother punches in the chest and runs.
Internal conflict is trying to decide whether you are going to chase him and return the punch or figure he may only be wanting some attention and going to play with him.

Internal means inside and external means outside. A conflict means a problem. An example of an internal conflict could be "identity crisis"-not sure of who or what you are-gay or straight or bi. An example of external conflict could be political problems, social problems, etc.

an internal conflict would be you wrestleing with yourself about a decesion where you know the right thing to do , but you want to do the wrong thing.
