How can I estimate a figurine's worth?

Question

a pair of white bulldogs holdng a baskt of pups in her mouth. Bottom sticker reads FF Japan, the other says Country Manor (store name?) FF 005 and a price of $5450, I'm assumng there's a decimal in there. Any idea where to begin to evaluate this? Thanks so much for any help.

You can often find the value by going to ebay and searching in "completed items".

Sometimes you can get lucky and find it on Kovels.com
