I am just wondering because people tend to honk at me since I put that on my car. Do they assimilate that with me being gay and thinking I am cute or with the issue itself of empowering human equal rights? It's probably a mix of the two-just wondering!

Or am I just a bad driver? Lmao

Funny you should ask; I was on my way home from work last night and noticed that the car in front of me had an HRC bumper sticker on one side and a rainbow sticker on the other!! I was wondering how to let the driver know that I was 'with' them; I thought about honking, but figured they might not realize why I was doing it. (I'm very femme)

Is there a way other than honking to show someone that you understand what they mean and that you agree?

Oh, and where'd you get your sticker, from their website? I want one!! lol

If the driver is female, on the road I flirt. In person I'll usually compliment the sticker. I load large merchandise in the back of people's vehicle at work all day, so I see quite a few things from HRC stickers to rainbow stickers to rainbow license plate frames. I live in Columbus, Ohio, so I see a lot of pro-LGBT bumper stickers.

Maybe your skirt is caught in the door!

Well, around here, there are so many HRC and rainbow stickers, it would seem silly to honk.

Thats nothing you should see the amount of cars that honk at me. My Avatar's picture is on my license plate. I've had good and bad responses. The bird a few times. It represents Gay American Christian.

I have given a few HRC-ers the ol' honk-and-wave before.

I have one on my car as well as on my avatar. I get occasional honks.

But I also have a pro-same-sex marriage bumper sticker and one that reads, "I refuse to believe in any God that endorses war, murder or Pat Robertson."

Any of these could elicit a toot from a passing car.

I never notice any. Sad considering I'm 30 minutes away from San Francisco

I don't know, what does HRC stand for?

Probably mostly people who appreciate the cause...maybe some for your other reason(s?) but mostly the cause.
