Who cares? Gonzales claims he's going to stay on at Justice because of Dubya's continuing support. If he does, I suggest that Congress begin to marginalize him immediately. He doesn't know what's going on in his own department anyway, so why should they deal with him? They need to begin dealing with his Gonzales' assistants. At least they seem to know where they are and what they are doing. Which is much more than can be said for Alberto. Marginalizing Gonzales will also send the message to Herr Bush that some departments of his administration aren't worth dealing with on a cabinet secretary level, just as he also is not worthy of them dealing with them. Gonzales may have decided to stay on, but to Congress he seems to have become a non-entity. Can Dubya's turn be far behind?

Actually, the only thing Gonzales would probably remember IS Bush. Considering Bush is the only one who has the utmost confidence in him, he would have to remember Bush.

Karl Marx...I mean Karl Rove shows him how to get to work and how to conveniently not remember things.
The only thing Karl remembers to do on a regular basis is clean out his email.

He has selective memory. He remembers, what he wants to remember, or should I say what Bush told him to remember.
