I know for sure 5 years ago Arnold Schwarzeneger listed these movies he'd like to return to:

Conan 3 (final movie
Commando 2 (was started and shelved in the 80's)
True Lies 2 (dont know why but this was supposed to have been out by now).
Predator 3 (with Glover as a second hero)

The original creator of TRON wants to do:

TRON 2.0
and a remake of the original

Kenneth Johnson wants to bring back "V" from the 80's
he is working on "V 2: the second generation with a book coming out this year, and tv series maybe next year with possible a remake of the original.

what are some others that deserve sequels.

Terminator 4 has been in the works for a while now (dont know where it stands) but they will not need Arnold because this is no longer about him.

Only main charectors they will need are:
John Connor
Kyle Reese

there is word Clair Danes will return per the story line left in T3.

Can I get a sequel to "one night in Paris" with Paris Hilton reprising her role??

Two films from the 80s I'd love to see revisited as true sequels (not remakes where they discount the events of the original) are

The Lost Boys
The Goonies

I'm glad that Indy 4 & Die Hard 4 are finally seeing the light of day.

Also, I wish they'd do a proper Terminator 4, but with James Cameron back at the helm, and finally show the future war in all it's bloody gory glory.

...what about the sequels to movies that were blantantly, in-your-face announced, yet never came to be, such as:

1). "Buckaroo Banzai Against The World Crime League"

2). "Dr. Detroit II: The Wrath of Mom"

3). "Tales of the Ancient Empire" (the announced folow-up to 1982's fantasy adventure "The Sword and the Sorcerer"

...but if I had to pick a favorite movie, which I feel demands a follow-up and/or sequel, it would have to be 1965's comedy/action/adventure, "The Great Race", directed by master comedy maker Blake Edwards. If those who recall, it was a 1920's auto race, from New York to Paris (New York to the Wild West...up North to Alaska...catching an iceberg to Persia...then to Paris). At the end, Tony Curtis' and Natalie Wood's characters get married, just as Jack Lemmon's and Peter Falk's characters challenge them to another race, from Paris back to New York. This time, they can cover the Middle East, Africa, Antarctica, South America, Mexico, then back up to New York.

The original movie had just about everything...slapstick comedy, action, adventure, romance, thrills, chills...everything, including the kitchen sink!!!

How about a sequel to director Luc Besson's "Leon: The Professional"??? Natalie Portman's character has grown up, having been well schooled and cultured; she travels to Europe, to seek the lineage of her beloved Leon, then travels back to the states, and takes up Leon's skills as a 'cleaner', under the tutilage of Danny Aiello's character, who is still running his restaurant...and still has need for a skilled 'cleaner'!!!

...who knows what sequel history may tell?!?!?!

I like that idea regarding Tron 2.0. I'd also like to see the governor back to play Terminator 4. How about The Day the Earth Stood Still, that would be cool. Hubby just filled me in on another old movie he thought would be good, one called Fail Safe (concerning nukes). I wouldn't mind War Games and The Day After having sequels either. Good question.

Shampoo (Warren Beatty)- They ended the movie with Beatty standing heartbroken on a hill as he watches his true Julie Christie leave with a rich man.

The Breakup (Aniston and Vaughn)-Ok, they went their seperate ways, so what next?

Spacballs(Mel Brooks)-The bad guys were last seen landing in the planet of the apes, you'd want to know what they will do.

Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks)-the author Winston Groom actually made a sequel book called "Gump and co.", also showing his relationship with his (now teenaged or adult) son.

Gone with the wind (Vivien Leigh)-It ends with Rhett Butler leaving and Scarlett vowing to get him back since "tomorrow is another day". I want to see if she got him back now that the "tomorrow" she was talking about ended almost 70 years ago.

Chucky 6, only if they could come up with sequel worth seeing in theatres.
Misery 2, if it could be possible.
Stephen King "It" 2, that would be so cool if they came up with a outstanding sequel.
