I have a male betta living in a bowl and i know its sick but i dont know with what. I know what all the sicknesses are and all the symptoms but i dont know which one it is. The fish looks like its covered with white slimey dust, it has a wierd orangish color on its body, and one of its fins is smaller and has a few black dots in them. He always stays in the bottom and always goes under whatever it could and when i take out the things it can get under it burries its head in the rocks. It doesnt eat at all and sometimes when it does, it spits it back out. What do you think it could be?

Sounds like velvet to me. All of the other activity and such is just the fish being afraid of what you are doing in his bowl. You can treat velvet with most regular ich medications or with parasite medications like Clout or Paracide. Treat the same as you would for ich.

Since you have him in a bowl, you should be doing 100% water changes every 2 or 3 days to keep the ammonia level down. Most diseases are brought on by stress and you fish is showing all the signs of stress: hiding, staying on the bottoms, and disease. I suspect high ammonia levels are the cause of the stress and thus the disease.

i'm not sure what is wrong with him but there are these drops called Chlor Out. It Neutralizes the water and has helped many fish we have had.
you could probably ask someone at a pet store that knows a lot about aquaruim fish.

i'm guessing velvet. try changing the water and adding some ich medicine. u can prevent it by adding a little aquariam salt.
