Watching the sunrise, it is an awesome experience. If you have never done so, please try it. It makes a world of difference to see it from the beach, how the sun inches up on the horizon.

but that's only because I am not a morning person and not even the sunrise over the beach could make me happy in the morning

Sunrise over the beach. I can see the moon and stars right where I am; it takes an effort to see the sunrise on the nearest beach.

I live on the west coast so I have never seen a sunrise over the beach but the sunsets here are awesome. Moon and stars work too. ♥
