i mean i'm guilty too but i just grew up listening to it not thinking it was any big deal. but now i'm starting to think it really IS messed up towards all women and I always think 'well I know he's not talking about me' but really they are offending the whole woman race so I should be just as upset as if they were talking to me because they are brainwashing our children! Do you agree????

This will never change. It's not just rappers. Discrimination towards women is everywhere really. In a way we are just as bad towards men it's just not as obvious.

I'm guilty of listening to it 2. I perfer rock but I listen to rap when I am in the mood to dance. Most girls don't actually listen to the music or even understand what they are saying. They just like the beat, its easy to dance too. Besides its just that pedicular rappers opinion of women. I don't ever plan on being with a man like that so it doesn't really affect me. But if someone said that kind of stuff to me...thatd be a different story.

I completely agree, I mean there are some that are okay, but all my friends listen to it and I'm like 'Listen to what you're calling YOURSELF!!' They think it's cool. It's gotten even worse in the past one year, actually.

Honestly, I wonder the same thing. I'm not a big fan of rap music unless it's LeCrae or John Reuben. They don't talk negativly about women.

they've adapted to it, they don't look at it as a form of disrespect ,just good lyrics and good beats
