Milky Way's got it right. You snitch to save yourself, to make yourself look better to people in power, to get back at someone, or to benefit yourself with money or other kinds of gains.
If you have nothing to gain apart from seeing justice served, you're not snitching. Frankly, it's more cowardly and weak to stay quiet and let someone else suffer because you're too much of a p***y to stand up for what's right.
All the people who say they don't want to be snitches need to go back to grade school, cause that's where most intelligent people start to grow out of that whole thing. Just imagine if the mass killer from the tragedy at VT escaped and if everyone who was witness to it was like, "Duh, I didn't see nuthin'..." Those brave people would be too smart for those kiddie games.

Because I want JUSTICE!
In the pledge of allegiance it says
"With liberty and JUSTICE FOR ALL."
So I figure since I am now a US citizen that I should abide by the law
