I had a cesarean close to four years ago!!! There are still areas around my incision that are numb. Also the movements you are feeling are likely to be gas bubbles or you insides returning back to where they were pre-baby! You are just used to looking for fetal movement so they stand out... I still feel that sometimes too!

I never had a c-section, but I too experienced "phantom baby" movements. I've actually asked a question regarding that, and it appears to be quite common for a woman to feel muscle spasms that feel like a baby kicking, long after her baby was born. My daughter is 2 now, and it still happens sometimes, although it used to be far more frequently. Many women theorize that its because we were so aware of activity in our bellies for those 9 months, that afterwards, we are hyper sensitive and notice every little twitch and gurgle that reminds us of a baby.

C-sections do injury the uterus in that the muscle has been decrease by way of and had to heal. Scar tissue makes uterine rupture with next pregnancies extra possibly, and there are different wellness destructive aspects to boot. it could be like having any surgical operation repeatedly and yet back... it will be no longer common on your physique. for many women folk, VBAC is lots safer than a repeat c-section. in spite of the undeniable fact that, this is getting no longer common to discover an OB who will do a VBAC in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, because of the fact juries tend to award damages on what's *no longer* finished extremely than what *is* finished, inspite of what the extremely clincal info is for destructive aspects, regardless of if some midwives will nevertheless do it. in case you're interested in gaining understanding of extra approximately VBAC, look up the international Cesarean understanding community. To Jas: 30% of toddlers have the twine wrapped around the neck -- it is not in itself a clarification for the toddler to be taken out surgically.

I am still numb where my scar incision is. My c-section was 4 years ago.
I would check about the spasm feelings, though. That's kind of odd.

The numbness never went away for me. But its only numb around where the scar is. I never really had the feelings of movement though. You should ask your doctor.

Um, this sounds really strange. You should see a doctor to find out what is up with all that. To answer your question, no, I didn't have those kinds of problems.... Make sure you tell the doctor what you wrote here, okay?

My last four kids were c-sections, and from what you said above, I experienced all of that. It's just your body getting back to normal.
