I have had 3 children and I always started at 120lbs. By the time I had the babies I was only 136lbs. During my last pregnancy I was so small that people did not even know that I was pregnant. I always felt the babies in my ribs and they were all fine weighing 6lbs and a few ounces. It all depends on the person, I would say. I did not care for my first ob at all. Have you had all the normal tests? If you have and they came out fine I would not worry about anything. If you feel the baby moving then that is a good thing for sure.

Your weight is appropriate as the reccommendations are 25 -30 pounds by due date. The size of the baby doesn't always correlate to the amount of weight you gain. I gained a ton of weight with both my kids and both of my babies were between 6-8 pounds.
The 5 cm difference could mean that your dates are a little off. It doesn't mean disaster. I think you should be getting an ultrasound done soon if you haven't had one already. When it is done they will get a good look at your baby and will also get a better idea of your due date. This isn't always the truth as far as the dates are concerned but they will know if there is a problem with the baby itself.
I wish you the best.

Your weight is fine. I was 110 before becoming pregnant, and now at 36 weeks i am 130. My dr. told me that because of my petite size, i may not gain that much. As long as you dont smoke/drink, and you are doing everything you should be, the baby is more than likely fine. But if you smoke and/or drink, then obviously your baby will be smaller. But if not, then you might have a big baby. I grew soooo much between week 28 & 32, kind of like baby had a growth spurt. Dont worry about it if you are doing everything right

I think you're right on target. You've gained 20 pounds and you've still got 10 weeks to go.

I always measure small when I'm pregnant and every time the doc thinks my due date is off or that my baby is going to be small. They get out the measuring tape and tell me my uterus is not measuring big enough for my due date.

But my babies (all 3) have always come right on time and they were all over 7 pounds.

So.....just relax and don't let the OB try to fit you into a perfect weight gain chart because every woman is different. As long as you are eating healthy and eating when you are hungry you are doing fine.

God bless.

Assuming 105 pre-prenancy weight was a healthy weight for you, it seems like you are on track. Usually you can expect to gain up to 5 lbs. during the first trimester, then one pound each week after that for a total of (25 - 35 lbs.). You've gained You have gained 19.5 lbs. so far, with 12 weeks to go! Sounds right to me, but only your Doc can tell for certain. Good luck with your baby!

Your doctor is always right!!! It is pretty silly to ask a bunch of strangers this question when your doctor is completely certified with several years of schooling under his/her belt in addition to having delivered god knows how many kids!!!
Also, your weight is fine, i'm five months and have gained no weight.

I think your weight is fine, but I'm not an expert, and I'd be surprised if you found any experts here. Call your doctor back tomorrow and see if they can give you any advice.
