May 2, 1917, Cincinnati at Chicago. Reds pitcher Fred Toney wins a 10-inning duel against the Cubs' Hippo Vaughn, 1-0. Toney no-hits the Cubs all the way; Vaughn no-hits the Reds for 9 1/3 innings, but finally allows two hits in the tenth.
